Mission

For 26 years, the CTIJF has been dedicated to showcasing a blend of South African talent alongside internationally acclaimed artists, expanding access to jazz knowledge across all demographics, and supporting young creatives through their music, personal, and career development.

The CTIJF supports young creatives with formal outreach programmes and curated workshops and masterclasses, which empower programme alumni with the tools, confidence, and industry insight needed to sustain long-term pathways and thrive throughout their creative careers in the entertainment industry.
